Each year the 12-year teams will have the opportunity to play in Cooperstown, NY (which is a week-long event). The cost per player (which seems to increase every 2-years) is $1200/per player.  In order to cover the costs for each player, the Travel Committee hosts a variety of fundraising events which include the following:

  • Hosting the Labor Day Tournament in Manalapan
  • The Travel Dinner Event
  • Any other various events conducted by the Travel Committee

Each year we need to generate approximately $24,000 to cover the costs of the players traveling to Cooperstown. Without these fundraising activities and the assistance of volunteers, the cost will fall back on the parents to cover. This is key to the program and why there is such an emphasis on fundraising.
